Abstract: We developed a highly efficient, deep-red organic light-emitting device (OLED) with an external quantum efficiency of nearly 18% with a very low turn-on voltage of 2.41 V and an electroluminescence emission wavelength of 670 nm using energy transfer from exciplex host to deep-red phosphorescent emitter bis(2,3-diphenylquinoxaline)iridium(dipivaloylmethane)[(DPQ)2Ir(dpm)].
